Join the Complex Care and Recovery Program at CAMH as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Therapeutic Neighbourhood. This role focuses on client programming and collaborative mental health treatment.
The CAMH team seeks a Registered Nurse with expertise in therapeutic programming and group facilitation. You will work with clients experiencing complex mental health issues providing a supportive therapeutic setting. Your contributions will also involve supervising nursing students and engaging in special projects that enhance evidence-based practices in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and address therapeutic needs of clients
• Deliver group-based support and treatment programming
• Supervise nursing students and collaborate on projects
• Support quality initiatives and research activities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and diversity practices
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years of nursing experience, preferably in mental health
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingualism is considered an asset
