Join St. Francis Xavier University’s Facilities Management team as a Journeyman Steamfitter and Plumber. This on-site, full time position supports essential maintenance and system upgrades across campus.

You will report to the Mechanical and Electrical Supervisor and be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs. Your role will include installation work on small projects and upgrades to enhance university systems. Flexibility is key, as participation in an on-call rotation will be necessary for urgent maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Perform installations and upgrades for small projects
• Share on-call duties with the maintenance team
• Operate university vehicles when needed

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Steamfitter & Pipefitter/Plumber certification
• Proficient in steam and water systems installation
• Experience with drainage system installation and repairs
• Ability to interpret technical schematics and instructions
