Join Mount Royal University as a Junior Facility Planner, where you'll engage in architectural planning and design projects. This full time, hybrid role involves significant interaction with campus renovation efforts.

In this role, you will assist the Facilities Management team with architectural AutoCAD design and space planning for various projects. You'll also maintain essential drawing archives and provide support through effective project coordination. Your design and planning skills will directly influence the accessibility and safety of the university environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop architectural drawings and layouts
• Manage client communications regarding planning factors
• Undertake renovation project coordination and logistics




• Maintain up-to-date technical manuals and libraries
• Suggest modifications to enhance safety and accessibility

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or equivalent
• 6 to 12 months related experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (v.2024) and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Sketchup and rendering software
