We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide onsite Human Resources support for our Market Distribution Centre (MDC) in Brampton, Ontario. This position serves as the primary HR resource for the facility, partnering closely with leaders and associates to support employee relations, recruitment, performance management, attendance management, workplace investigations, and day-to-day HR operations.
What You’ll Do Employee Relations & HR Partnership Serve as the primary HR contact for leaders and associates at the Brampton MDC.
Partner with operational leaders to provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance management, workplace accommodations, investigations, discipline, and terminations.
Conduct and support workplace investigations.
Support employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture.
Ensure an exceptional candidate, onboarding, and training experience for new associates.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Lead full-cycle recruitment activities for the facility.
Partner with operational leaders to identify current and future staffing requirements.
Build talent pipelines for warehouse, transportation, and leadership positions.
Ensure an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience.
Tier 1 Health & Safety Support Act as the onsite Tier 1 Health & Safety resource.
Support compliance with occupational health and safety legislation.
Assist with workplace incident investigations, near misses, injury reporting, and corrective actions.
Support JHSC activities, site inspections, and safety training.
HR Operations, Onboarding & Training Coordinate and support facility onboarding and training programs for new hires, ensuring completion of required operational, compliance, and safety training.
Support Workday transactions and HR administrative processes.
Maintain compliance with employment legislation.
Support annual performance, talent, and compensation programs.
What You’ll Bring Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience.
Experience in employee relations, recruitment, and workplace investigations.
Knowledge of Ontario employment and health & safety legislation.
CHRP designation considered an asset.

Compensation Range: 60,000 to 80,000 + 10% Bonus
