Join Imperial as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Edmonton, AB. As an engineer-in-training, you'll support our Midstream Business Canada Fuels Operations through technical assistance and project guidance.
This position requires an engineering degree and a keen interest in Instrumentation and Controls. You will work closely with our Field Engineering Lead to enhance pipeline and terminal projects through various technical responsibilities. Your contributions will ensure adherence to industry standards while fostering innovation in energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide development of projects at pipeline and terminal facilities
• Review specifications and compliance of field devices
• Maintain technical drawings for process control networks
• Provide I&C; support to field operations
• Troubleshoot operational issues onsite or remotely
Requirements:
• Engineering degree with EIT eligibility in Canada
• Interest in Instrumentation and Controls engineering
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to travel across Canada for site activities
