About the Role: At CBRE, our Commercial Refrigeration Technicians play a critical role in keeping essential facilities operating at their best. In this hands‑on position, you’ll support multiple sites by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems that businesses depend on every day.

What You’ll Do: Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, commercial refrigeration systems, calibrate instruments, gauges, and control components.
Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations,



and work safety.
Troubleshoot difficult equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Performs assigned day‑to‑day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repairs records as required.
Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks and maintain good inventory of parts in service vehicle. Utilizes CMMS to manage work orders and track completion.
Responsible for the preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of HVAC equipment, air handling units (AHUs), dehumidification units, heating, and cooling system (boiler, chiller, and cooling tower) and commercial refrigeration equipment or rack refrigeration system including refrigerated cooler and freezer, walk‑in coolers and freezers and self‑contained refrigerated units.
Oversees and inspects the work performed by third party vendors.
