Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited is seeking a Driveline Technician who will be responsible for rebuilding drivelines and grinding flywheels.

Driveline Technician Responsibilities Include
Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts, inspect parts and discard all damaged parts
Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; set grinder and regrind flywheel to specifications
Prepare list of required replacement parts on work order
Pull recent parts from inventory and complete the appropriate paperwork
Paint and label parts
Reassemble, time and balance if required
Tag units as required
Place units in inventory or for customer pick up as required
Submit work order for invoicing
Clean work area as required and maintain equipment; Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards
Successful Driveline Technician Candidates Will Have
One year of driveline -- driveshaft repair technician experience within the heavy-duty industry
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
Automotive Service Excellence certification appropriate to the job or equivalent
Possess your own tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities (Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited offers a tool purchase or reimbursement program)
Valid driver's license and/or CDL with good driving record
Experience in Customer Service and handling phone systems

Physical Requirements
The work is active
Typically the associate will lift, pull and move heavy duty truck parts that might be in excess of 50 lbs
The associate will also have to do the following throughout the day: walking, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting, and pushing
Work Environment
While performing the primary duties of the job, the associate will be regularly exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, and noise and temperature variances
