Join Gateway Casinos as a Payroll Specialist, working in a hybrid mode to support payroll management. Your role will be critical in maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance.
In this Payroll Specialist position, you will handle all aspects of the payroll cycle, including processing payroll for both union and non-union employees. With at least five years of experience in payroll administration, you will be responsible for auditing payroll data, managing employee records, and ensuring compliance with corporate and government regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our financial team’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage payroll processing for union and non-union employees
• Ensure timely updates of employee information in payroll systems
• Audit payroll records for accuracy and compliance
• Oversee approvals for overtime and leave of absence
• Conduct year-end payroll reconciliations and reporting
Requirements:
• Preference for Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification
• 5+ years of relevant payroll administration experience
• Familiar with union payroll processing and attendance systems
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and accounting processes
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
