Job Title: Truck and Trailer Mechanic Location: Yukon Territory
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing our fleet of highway trucks and trailers. This role is critical to ensuring our vehicles are safe, operational, and performing at a high standard, supporting Cobalt Construction's civil construction projects across the Yukon.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, diagnose, and repair highway trucks and trailers
Perform preventative maintenance and routine services
Complete annual inspections and CVIPs
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Work independently or as part of a team to keep the fleet running smoothly
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations




Qualifications & Requirements: Licensed Journeyperson or Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic preferred (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems (engine, brakes, suspension, etc.)
Experience with diagnostic tools and repair procedures
Ability to work independently in a rapid-paced environment
Safety-first attitude and strong work ethic
Certified CVIP inspector

Work Schedule & Details: Competitive hourly wage based on experience
