Lead MCC BC’s Current Foundations Program as the Program Coordinator, focusing on aiding newcomer families in Victoria and Westshore. This full-time, impactful role emphasizes skills for life and community integration.
In your role as the Program Coordinator, you will spearhead the New Foundations Program, assisting newcomers in accessing vital resources for financial stability and social connection. With responsibilities that include workshop facilitation and budget management, your leadership will directly influence the success of participants. Aligning with MCC BC’s Christian mission, you’ll engage in community partnerships and volunteer support crucial for program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate workshops and one-on-one support for participants
• Oversee program activities, budgets, and reporting
• Develop partnerships with local churches and service providers
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and interns
• Monitor and evaluate participant progress and outcomes
Requirements:
• Experience in program management and budget oversight
• Active involvement in a Christian community
• Two years of experience in adult education facilitation
• Strong knowledge of newcomer challenges
• Valid Driver’s License with a clear abstract
