The Department of Historical Studies welcomes applications for this position starting July 1, 2027. Applicants should hold a PhD in Women and Gender Studies or related fields, showcasing excellence in feminist analyses, colonial histories, and transnational formations of gender. Candidates are expected to implement digital and archival methods to produce cutting-edge diasporic feminist knowledge.
Key Responsibilities: - Teach diverse undergraduate Women,



Gender and Sexuality Studies courses - Support undergraduate experiential learning initiatives - Engage in cooperative curriculum development - Lead projects like the WGSS Research Opportunity Program - Conduct independent, externally funded research
Requirements: - A PhD in Women and Gender Studies or related field - Strong record of publications in respected journals - Evidence of excellence in teaching and mentorship - Experience in leading successful seminars or workshops - Commitment to interdisciplinary research practices
