MAKR Group

British Columbia

We are MAKRs – Our common goal, our passion, is to create global communities connected through play and social experiences. The MAKR Group is comprised of three brands: Waterplay , a global splash pad provider; Parkworks , a Western Canadian park space supplier; and Wekid Mfg. , Canada’s most playfully professional steel manufacturing team.

With tens of thousands of play and park space installations worldwide, we’ve helped millions of people of all ages and abilities access fun, inviting, and “go-backable” recreation spaces. What makes us jump out of bed every morning is knowing we’re integral to creating these meaningful places, and we need people like you to help us build them!

If you grew up loving Tetris, organizing Lego by colour, choosing hands‑on projects, and now keep your pantry impeccably ordered, you might have the spatial sense and attention to detail we need. We’re looking for a true team player - someone who never says, “That’s not my job,” but instead asks, “How can I make this better?”.

You inject fun into all aspects of your work and invite others to do the same. We’re a different kind of company, and we’re looking for a different kind of individual to join our team!

Our team is growing and we’re looking for a Warehouse Material Handler with better‑than‑good technical aptitude and planning skills, experience in manufacturing and fabrication environments, and finesse in analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

Verify that all vendor‑supplied materials meet our quality standards

Ensure all products built by our Production team are accurately assembled and securely packaged

Ensure shipments loaded and packed securely and take detailed pictures

Obtain signature on copies of bills of lading from truck drivers

Maintain correct bin locations for incoming product

Advise of any shortages or damage on product received as soon as possible

WHAT YOU BRING:

A Grade 12 education or equivalent

Previous experience in logistics, manufacturing, and/or fabrication environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Experience safely operating forklifts

Experience safely using handheld power tools

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
