Job Title: Endoscopy Technologist

Position Details
Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:30a - 3:00p

Weekend Work: None

On Call: No

Requirements
Certification:

Required – BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education
Required – High School or Equivalent

Experience
Preferred – 1 year – Related field

Responsibilities

Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks .





Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite , holding, and recovery areas.

Orients patients and significant others to the unit .

Maintains setting by cleaning and storing equipment, disposing of linens, and stocking supplies

Keeps patient areas clear of trash and clutter, cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy equipment and stretchers

On-call/weekend shifts

Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

Must have computer, written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the position

Show strong organizational, customer service, time management, administrative, and clerical skills
