CancerCare Manitoba is looking for a dedicated Nursing Assistant for its Outpatient Clinic Services Program at the Victoria General Hospital Site. This position requires successful completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant Course and the ability to perform various clerical and supportive tasks. Key skills include interpersonal communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clerical support and patient care
• Maintain cleanliness of clinical work areas
• Ensure patient comfort and safety
• Lift and transport patients and equipment
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Course
• Basic computer skills and BCLS certification
• Ability to lift and transport patients
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
