The Division of Hematology at the University of Ottawa and The Ottawa Hospital is seeking two hematologists. This full-time academic faculty role involves training, research opportunities, and participation in clinical programs such as Apheresis and Hemostasis. Candidates will be integrated into a thriving team with access to significant support resources and a strong mentorship framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical care and education in benign hematology
• Participate in training and supervision of medical trainees
• Engage in quality improvement and research initiatives
• Share clinical responsibilities through the divisional on-call rotation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care
Requirements:
• MD degree with Hematology certification eligibility
• Licensure in Ontario with CMPA membership
• Academic rank eligibility at Assistant Professor level
• Solid interest in clinical research or quality improvement
• Bilingual candidates preferred for enhanced patient care
