CaribbeanTales Media Group seeks a agile Director of Distribution to lead global sales and licensing for our diverse catalogue of Caribbean films, documentaries, and digital content through CaribbeanTales Worldwide Distribution (CTWD). This senior role drives revenue growth while advancing our mission of amplifying BIPOC and cultural narratives worldwide.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive distribution strategies for film festivals, theatrical, streaming, broadcast, and educational markets across Canada, the US, Europe, the Caribbean, and emerging platforms.
Negotiate high-value licensing deals, carriage agreements, and co-productions with broadcasters (e.g., Netflix), festivals (e.g., TIFF, DIFF, Berlinale), and VOD services, targeting annual revenue growth of 20-30%.
Oversee a small sales team, manage CRM pipelines, and represent CTWD at key markets like Cannes Marché du Film and Sunny Side of the Doc; track KPIs including sell-through rates and territorial expansions.
