Join ZTR as a Mechanical Intern, where you’ll aid in developing sustainable solutions in the rail industry. This role based in London, Ontario immerses you in real-world engineering projects.

Your internship will span 4 to 12 months, allowing you to engage directly with our mechanical design team. You'll gain valuable experience working with Solidworks and CAE tools while preparing technical documentation and offering insights into production processes, ultimately supporting environmentally friendly practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and validate mechanical design components and assemblies
• Prepare detailed technical documents for various products
• Choose suitable materials for mechanical hardware assemblies
• Support the integration of documents into PDM software
• Recommend assembly strategies for locomotive subsystems

Requirements:
• Must be a Mechanical or Mechatronic student
• Familiarity with using Solidworks and CAE software
• Basic GD&T; understanding for design
• Proficiency in Excel and PDM software
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
