MSP Manitoba Starch Products in Carberry, Manitoba is currently seeking full-time Production Operators to join our team! Our plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The successful applicants will work on a rotating schedule which includes 10 and 12 hour day and night shifts, so you only work 7 out of 14 days each pay period!

What you?ll do:
Set up the production equipment and supplies before producing job orders
Operate industrial vehicles to transfer finished product within the factory and between buildings
Work with the PLC system to monitor production and troubleshoot issues
Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs
Perform regular equipment preventive maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality




Monitor waste production streams
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

The successful candidate will possess:
1+ years? experience in a food manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex systems, equipment, and processes
Available to work 10 and 12 hour shifts on a 24 hour, 7 day per week rotating schedule
The ability to work alone on night and weekend shifts is required
The ability to work in varying temperatures
The ability to lift and carry up to 25kgs, walk and stand on concrete for long periods of time (with breaks), and be comfortable with heights
A solid work ethic with the ability to maintain an excellent attendance record
A positive, collaborative attitude and approach to work
Mechanical aptitude

Applicants must currently live in Canada, be legally eligible to work in Canada, and be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently.
