Position Details The incumbent will work with the construction team to perform regular scheduled service, maintenance, startups, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will also be responsible for promoting the continued growth of the service team to current and potential new customers as a field representative of Refrigeration and HVAC.
A qualified candidate will possess a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Journeyman Certificate or Red Seal or be working through their apprenticeship.
Responsibilities Install, service and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration, air conditioning units and combined heating, ventilation & cooling systems, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
Troubleshoot onsite mechanical issues
Perform routine maintenance, service and warranty work
Interact with our customers
Follow safe work practices
Document work performed on service assignments
Other duties as required to meet customer/business needs
Qualifications Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license with a good abstract.
Own hand tools, impact, drill, tool pouch and steel toe safety boots.
Ability to travel weekly (company vehicle provided)
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate day or night shifts
Ability to work a minimum of 8-hour shifts 5 days a week
Physical requirements of the position include:



lifting, pushing and pulling, standing, bending/crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and working at heights and in tight spaces, as allowed by OHS regulations.
The job is physically demanding and involves working on rooftops and with materials such as industrial glues and cleaning chemicals.
Advantages Compensation Range: $23.50-$40.00+ hourly.
