We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to support the growth and online presence of our multidisciplinary healthcare clinic.
The Digital Marketing Assistant will help communicate the clinic's services, values, and community involvement through social media, digital content, email communications, website updates, and promotional campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to create engaging content while maintaining a professional, trustworthy, and patient-centred healthcare brand.
The successful candidate will work closely with the clinic team to develop content that educates patients, highlights our practitioners and services, promotes clinic programs and community events, and strengthens relationships with both existing and prospective patients.
Key Responsibilities Social Media & Content Manage and maintain the clinic's social media presence across relevant platforms.
Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
Create engaging posts, stories, reels, graphics, and other digital content.
Photograph and capture appropriate video content within the clinic and at clinic-related events.
Develop educational and informative content related to physiotherapy, rehabilitation, injury prevention, wellness, and active lifestyles.
Highlight practitioners, treatment services, clinic initiatives, patient education, and community involvement.
Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages and respond professionally where appropriate.
Digital Marketing Assist with the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
Promote clinic services, programs, workshops, and community initiatives.
Support promotional campaigns for programs such as the clinic's Running Clinic and other community-focused activities.
Assist with email marketing and patient/community communications.
Help develop digital promotional materials, including flyers, graphics, newsletters, and online announcements.
Maintain consistent branding, messaging, and visual presentation across digital platforms.
Website & Online Presence Assist with updating website content,
service information, practitioner profiles, announcements, and promotional material.
Identify opportunities to improve the clinic's online visibility and patient experience.
Assist with basic search engine optimization (SEO), including relevant keywords, page content, and local online presence.
Monitor online reviews and assist with maintaining a positive and professional digital presence.
Community & Clinic Initiatives Help promote and document clinic events, programs, and community initiatives.
Support marketing for group activities and programs, including running-related community events.
Help create content that demonstrates the clinic's involvement with the local community and active lifestyle initiatives.
Assist with registration and promotional campaigns using tools such as Google Forms, QR codes, and digital communications.
Marketing Administration & Analytics Maintain organized marketing files, content calendars, photos, videos, and digital assets.
Track basic marketing metrics such as social media engagement, reach, website traffic, and campaign performance.
Prepare simple reports and recommendations based on marketing results.
Research current digital marketing trends and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach.
Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure marketing information is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital content creation.
Ability to create engaging and professional visual content.
Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, social media management platforms, and basic analytics tools.
Basic understanding of website management and SEO is an asset.
Photography and video editing skills are an asset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinic staff.
Professional judgment and an understanding of appropriate communication within a healthcare environment.
Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

What You'll Do in a Typical Week Plan and schedule upcoming social media content.
Create educational and promotional posts.
Capture photos and short-form video content at the clinic.
Update website and digital promotional materials.
Promote upcoming programs, events, and community initiatives.
Assist with email and patient/community communications.
Review social media and marketing analytics.
Brainstorm new ways to increase awareness of clinic services and improve patient engagement.
Work with practitioners to turn their expertise into useful, engaging educational content.
Role Objective The primary objective of this position is to increase the clinic's digital visibility, strengthen patient and community engagement, and communicate the clinic's services and expertise through consistent, professional, and engaging digital marketing.
