Develop future aviation professionals at Cascade Aerospace in Abbotsford, BC as a Workplace Coach/Instructor. This crucial role emphasizes coaching apprentices and delivering technical training across multiple aviation trades.
As part of the Human Resources and Training team, the Workplace Coach/Instructor will evaluate learning paths for apprentices in three aviation specializations. Your expert knowledge of aircraft maintenance, combined with solid leadership skills, will guide apprentices through their practical exposure and learning experiences. Collaborating with supervisors and crew leads, you ensure quality work environments and compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate hands-on training using various instructional techniques
• Develop, deliver, and revise courseware for compliance
• Oversee apprentices’ rotations and performance reviews
• Mentor Crew Leads and coordinate task assignments
• Monitor onboarding and exit interview action items
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of heavy-duty aircraft maintenance experience
• Solid communication skills in English
• Knowledge of Transport Canada regulations
• Proven track record of reliability and excellent attendance
• Post-secondary education in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
