Compass Early Learning and Care is hiring a School Age Educator for its Cavan program. In this engaging role, you will facilitate essential learning experiences for children during both school days and breaks.

This permanent position at Compass ELC requires a passionate educator skilled in creating stimulating, play-based activities for children. You will work 30 hours per week in a split-shift format during the school year and full time during PA days and breaks. Your commitment to children's development will help cultivate a positive and engaging atmosphere for their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead interest-based activities promoting development
• Supervise children while engaged in play




• Observe and document children’s learning progress
• Ensure a healthy, safe workplace for all children
• Collaborate with families for optimal engagement

Requirements:
• 1-3 years’ experience in childcare or education
• Knowledge of Child Care Early Years Act
• Clear police vulnerable sector check required
• Registered ECE or pursuing the diploma
• Acceptable alternative childcare designations
