In this pivotal role, you will report to the Director of Finance, playing a key role in enhancing financial operations and ensuring regulatory adherence. You will oversee financial database management, engage with city officials for compliance, and provide insights for audits and financial statements. Leadership of the accounting team is also essential to maintain accuracy in operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and audits
• Act as liaison for City of Toronto financial matters
• Control budget vs. actual variance analysis
• Maintain up-to-date financial manuals for compliance
• Support with capital project tracking and analysis

Requirements:
• Eight years of financial management experience
• CPA certification is a must
• Proficient in financial software and Excel
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to handle competing priorities effectively
