As a casual, permanent member of our inpatient treatment team, you'll be integral in addressing patients' urgent needs. Your responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing crisis interventions, and offering tailored referrals. Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently is crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform intake assessments and document patient details
• Assist walk-in patients for immediate care
• Schedule short-term counselling appointments
• Provide referrals for additional support services
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies

Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in drug & alcohol counselling
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Recent Criminal Reference Check is mandatory
• First Aid and CPR Certification is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
