As a Community Relations Co-op Student, you will report to the Manager of Community Relations. This position emphasizes skills in public engagement, research, and team collaboration while maintaining a connection with diverse community members. Your role involves travel within Nova Scotia for events and meetings, ensuring vital relationships are fostered and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support outreach and communication with local residents
• Attend and assist in community meetings and events
• Engage in outreach alongside NexGold staff




• Prepare newsletters, presentations, and fact sheets
• Conduct research on community interests and issues

Requirements:
• Enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license for travel within Nova Scotia
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Canva
• Willingness to engage in cultural learning
