Contribute to community safety as an Auxiliary Community Safety Team member in North Vancouver and Squamish Valley. Join Squamish Nation to provide proactive patrols and support services.

We are looking for dependable individuals with a passion for public safety. This auxiliary role focuses on the safety and well-being of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh communities. You will conduct visible patrols, document safety concerns, and connect members with essential resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patrol Squamish Nation neighborhoods and community sites
• Document and report incidents like trespassing and vandalism
• Act as a community contact for safety information
• Support traffic control and road safety initiatives
• Assist during events and emergency situations

Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Training in basic security and first aid preferred
• Solid communication and conflict management skills
• Valid BC Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
• Understanding of Skwxwú7mesh culture is an asset
