Our Accelerated Sports and Spine Physiotherapy Clinic is looking for a full time PT Assistant to complement our talented interdisciplinary team. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. Using your therapy skills, you will achieve outstanding clinical outcomes and client engagement for patients in both program and private practice settings. This position is well suited to someone with a strong ability to offer treatment and help motivate clients to return to work and everyday activities at all stages of rehabilitation.
Hourly Range: $23.00 - $25.00
PRIMARY DUTIES:
As a PT Assistant you will:
Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WSB and private patients in a gym setting
Work with an interdisciplinary team in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client
Implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs
Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician
Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning




Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS: To take on the role of PT Assistant , you will have:
Strong critical thinking;
Ability to work under pressure;
Solid computer abilities;
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to take and follow direction.
Kinesiology degree would be an asset
