Job Description
Influencer Campaign Manager
Employment Type: Freelance
Location: Toronto, Canada
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
Lead the planning, execution, and production of seasonal and annual influencer and creator campaigns.
Manage creator identification, outreach, briefing, approvals, deliverables, analytics, and final campaign reporting.
Maintain transparent day‑to‑day communication with internal teams, clients, creators, vendors, and external partners.
Own campaign timelines, milestones, budgets, status updates, and risk escalation across active programs.
Develop and customize scopes of work, creator agreements, contract addenda, and related documentation in partnership with legal and business affairs teams.
Support post‑campaign analysis and apply performance learnings to future strategy, creative development, and execution.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to strengthen influencer integration across social channels and broader marketing efforts.
Strategic Planning & Thought Leadership
Translate client and business goals into practical, innovative creator, content, and media solutions.
Provide clear strategic recommendations supported by audience, platform, competitive, and performance insights.
Evaluate market developments and identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and program growth.
Oversee workflows, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations for digital and social initiatives.
Guide teams through campaign delivery while ensuring work is aligned to objectives, approved strategy, and best practices.
Review relevant performance metrics and recommend solutions that advance program goals.
Creative Strategy & New Business
Research social platforms, creators, competitor activity, emerging formats,
and cultural trends to inform proposals and strategic recommendations.
Lead proposal development, including presentation creation, copywriting, creator strategy, and supporting materials.
Create influencer and creator tactical plans that connect audience insights with measurable business outcomes.
Vet creators, vendors, platforms, and technologies for quality, fit, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Coordinate communications related to proposals, consultations, leads, and agency pitch opportunities.
Participate in internal planning meetings and serve as a dependable point of contact across teams.
Insights & Marketing
Identify platforms, partners, and technologies that can improve creator program operations and efficiency.
Monitor the social and influencer landscape to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and differentiators.
Contribute to thought leadership, event concepts, marketing materials, and initiatives that promote the creator and influencer practice.
Attend relevant industry events and share actionable learnings with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience managing influencer, creator, social media, or integrated marketing campaigns.
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Working knowledge of social media platforms, creator ecosystems, digital content trends, and campaign measurement.
Experience developing creator briefs, managing approvals, coordinating deliverables, and preparing campaign reports.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship‑management skills.
Ability to turn business goals into concise, actionable campaign plans and creative recommendations.
Comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with changing priorities.
