Make a difference at Unity Health Toronto as a Registered Nurse in the Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit. This role combines patient-centered nursing with a focus on trauma-informed care for a complex, acute population.

As part of St. Joseph's Health Centre, you will work in a fast-paced mental health workplace, supporting adults 19 and older and focusing on recovery in a 36-bed unit. Your expertise in mental health and addictions nursing will be put to the test as you provide holistic care and collaborate with an interprofessional team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma-informed nursing care within an interprofessional team
• Support patients in managing their illnesses and recovery
• Engage families as essential partners in healthcare




• Incorporate best practices into care plans
• Attend ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years of recent mental health nursing experience
• Canadian Nurses Association Certificate in Psychiatric Nursing (completed within 2 years)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
