What is the Prospect?
The purpose of this role is to support and execute key business management activities and portfolio governance for the CBDDT group within QTS. This position will serve as a resource for financial and program related questions as well as overall inquiries for the portfolio that includes Client, Banking, Data Analytics, and Digital Technology.
Job Description
The role is intended to support the execution on all aspects of running CBDDT services as a business and working collaboratively with other COO Leads, Business Managers, QTS, and key stakeholder teams.
What will you do?
Portfolio Management, Financials, Analytics, and Performance
Support financial business management activities by assisting CBDDT business management and COO Leads with monitoring financial management, reporting, and analytics
Support Fiscal year planning processes by contributing to development of financial demands in alignment with portfolio strategy
Support the adoption of best practices, processes and tools across the CBDDT community ensuring globally consistent policies
PMO Governance
Support the implementation of program governance controls for the CBDDT portfolio
Work with leads facilitating timely and insightful performance data that supports strategy execution
Business and Portfolio Management Support
Coordinate and support internal business management team, including assisting with town halls, newsletters, and team alignment initiatives
Support workforce planning, headcount management, and onboarding/offboarding activities in collaboration with QTS strategy
Assist with 3rd party vendor management, including tracking and reporting on procurement tickets, contract renewals for vendors and contractors, and providing status updates on vendor-related activities in support of CBDDT portfolio
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
2-4 years of experience in business management or financial analysis work, such as evaluating the performance of investments or supporting business operations
Strong experiences in budget management, forecasting and financial models
Strong analytical and presentation skills, with excellent grasp of PowerPoint / excel / word and ability to distill large quantities of information into key themes / issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with capacity to work with senior teams and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Be able to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders and willingness to go the 'extra-mile'
Nice -to-have:
Exposure or familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
Experience with Capital Markets business and supporting business operations or client-facing teams
Interest in learning about banking technology fundamentals, including system development, lifecycles and emerging technologies
Willingness to explore process improvements and emerging technologies like GenAI
