As a Videographer, you will collaborate with the newsroom to report on community news for CKWS News at 5:30, 6:30, and 11pm. This role invites creativity as you pitch innovative stories, shoot video, and conduct live coverage of breaking news. Flexibility in working hours is essential for this dynamic position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Daily reporting and shooting local news stories
• Write, voice, and edit news content for broadcast
• Develop and pitch new story ideas based on community interest




• Engage in live coverage and interviews for breaking stories
• Enhance storytelling through creative video footage

Requirements:
• Post-secondary Diploma in Broadcast Journalism
• Proven experience in video production and news writing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in tight deadlines
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license necessary
