Join Vancity as a Governance Consultant, supporting governance processes in a member-owned credit union that's committed to social justice. This hybrid full time role focuses on documentation and compliance oversight.

In this Governance Consultant position, you will ensure effective operation of Vancity’s Regulatory Compliance function. By maintaining governance records and coordinating governance activities, you will help facilitate accurate reporting and oversight. Your strong stakeholder management and coordination skills will support both the internal teams and compliance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
• Produce governance documentation and reports for meetings
• Manage committee processes, action items, and follow-ups
• Track regulatory compliance issues and deadlines




• Prepare materials for governance forums with validated inputs
• Identify opportunities to improve governance practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Governance, Compliance, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of governance or compliance experience
• Experience supporting management forums and regulatory activities
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks is advantageous
