Help vulnerable youth in Salmon Arm as a Case Manager with BGC Okanagan. Support youth in resilience building, goal setting, and community resource connections in this fulfilling role.
BGC Okanagan is looking for a dedicated Case Manager for its Youth Outreach Program. This position requires collaboration with youth, families, and community resources to empower participants towards independence. You will create personalized intervention plans and facilitate skill-building sessions, making a significant impact in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews and observations to identify youth needs
• Develop short-term intervention plans in consultation with supervisors
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions for skill development
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and report progress to supervisors
• Liaise with community services and professionals for support
Requirements:
• Diploma in a human/social service field or equivalent experience
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Successful Criminal Record Check completion
• Adaptable availability for 28.5 hours weekly
