In this essential role, you will collaborate with the Stop Marketing to Kids Coalition, assisting in advocacy activities and stakeholder engagement. Your responsibilities will include organizing meetings, managing project budgets, and connecting with youth councils. This position emphasizes collaboration, creative problem-solving, and effective communication to support a healthier future for kids.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft agendas and minutes for Coalition meetings
• Assist members with materials and action items
• Coordinate advocacy projects with external stakeholders
• Document government meeting interactions for the Coalition
• Prepare outreach communication materials for advocacy efforts
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in public policy or related fields
• Understanding of government relations and health policy
• Experience in managing volunteers and advocacy projects
• Proficiency with MS Teams and Google Workspace
• Solid organizational and multitasking capabilities
