Description

As the Children and Families Program Coordinator, you will direct and deliver inclusive, engaging, and relevant programs that meet the needs of children and families in the community. You will coach and lead a group of like-minded, service focused individuals to ensure all members have a positive experience in a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment.

Are you the right fit?
Able to develop and deliver children and families programs and services emphasizing fun, fitness, skill development, physical literacy, health and well-being
Able to instruct and provide leadership to a variety of children and families programs and services including gymnastics, day camp and family events
Act as a mentor and provide support, coaching,
motivational leadership and professional development opportunities for others to learn and grow
Monitors staff certifications, create reports and program statistics
Bi-weekly scheduling and payroll administration
What else do you need?
1-2 years’ experience supervising employees or volunteers
2-4 years’ experience in program delivery
Strong customer service, time management, communication and problem solving/decision making skills
ASSETS
Post-secondary education in a related field
National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) or Manitoba Fitness Council (MFC) Certification
