Experienced Project Manager – Residential & Commercial Renovation Company
About Us
We are a quick-paced renovation company specializing in high-quality home renovations and construction projects. Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Project Manager to oversee projects from start to finish while ensuring exceptional client experience and project execution.
Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple renovation projects simultaneously, coordinating trades and schedules, ordering materials, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, has strong construction knowledge, and can confidently manage both people and processes.
Responsibilities
Manage renovation projects from pre-construction through completion
Coordinate trades, suppliers, materials, and schedules
Communicate with customers and provide regular project updates
Conduct site visits and ensure quality control standards are maintained
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and job progress
Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally
Review scopes of work, change orders, and project documentation
Work closely with office staff, estimators, and leadership team
Maintain organized project records using JobTread & SharePoint software
Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and professional
Qualifications
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in renovation or construction project management
Strong knowledge of construction practices and sequencing
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Highly organized with strong time management abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects at once
Experience working with trades, suppliers, and homeowners
Proficient with SharePoint, Outlook & M365
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
Experience with renovation software such as Job Tread, Builder trend, or similar platforms an asset
Estimating or construction management background
Knowledge of budgeting and scheduling
Customer service experience in residential & commercial construction

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects and excellent customer service.
This position is a contracted maternity leave role with an anticipated term of approximately 20 months, beginning in August for training andf full-time in October. Training and onboarding would begin in early August alongside our current Project Manager to ensure a smooth transition. There may be an prospect for the position to transition into a permanent role after the 20 months.
