Support families in need by joining Carlington Community Health Centre as a Family Support Resource Worker. This permanent, part time position empowers vulnerable families through resource navigation and community connections.
Carlington Community Health Centre seeks a compassionate Family Support Resource Worker (FSRW) focused on enhancing the welfare of families with children aged 0–18. You will identify family needs, develop appropriate action plans, and help connect them to critical services such as childcare, food security, and community programs. Your organizational skills will be pivotal in managing collaborations with local partners to fill service gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct needs assessments for family support
• Manage and coordinate family resource access
• Plan programs based on community needs
• Link families with essential services and supports
• Create tracking tools for client engagement and outcomes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years supporting vulnerable families
• Experience with marginalized and diverse communities
• Understanding of complex family dynamics
• Bilingual in English and French is required
