Randstad is now looking for a material handler and forklift operator for our client in beautiful Nanaimo BC The material handler and forklift operator is responsible for the daily movement of product, materials and machinery inside and outside of the warehouse facility using a combination of manual and mechanical means.

This position is also responsible to complete customer orders, receive incoming shipments, re-stock inventory, pack and load orders for shipment and complete all necessary documents. *** Contract position but can go permanent for the right individual *** Advantages Monday to Friday $24 per hour Work for an established company Weekly pay Vacation pay Responsibilities Locate and pick products using computer or paper systems; label and prepare orders for shipment Follow daily schedules to ensure orders are completed on time and in proper sequence Load trucks for productive delivery and verify/restock incoming inventory Match materials with storage locations and report any discrepancies Complete daily pre-start checklists and communicate mechanical issues to supervision Maintain a clean warehouse and yard; store materials and machinery safely Qualifications Well organized with ability to multi task, work with changing priorities Must be physically fit (walk, lift, climb) Forklift certificate Computer literate Summary Two easy ways to apply: 1.
