Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Barber Licence

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience

Salary: $19.23/ Hour for 35-40 Hours / Week

Responsibilities

Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair;





Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences;

Shampoo customers’ hair;

Shave and trim beards and mustaches;

Apply dyes to color hair;

Provide other hair and service treatments, such as coloring, facial waxing and also provide scalp conditioning massages;

Cut, trim, taper and style hair;

Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences;

Maintain shop and station cleanliness.

Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying

Hair Colouring Techniques: Dyes/tints
