Take charge as a Peer Support Lead with YMCA BC, covering maternity leave in Prince George, BC. This full-time role is dedicated to enhancing mental health services for youth and families.

As a coordinator at Foundry Prince George, you will supervise and manage peer support activities. Engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, focusing on effective service integration. Collaborate closely with the centre manager to ensure quality support aligned with community needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day peer support programming
• Mentor and supervise peer support workers daily
• Oversee communication and knowledge exchange
• Manage quality improvement and evaluation initiatives




• Maintain accurate client records and budget accountability

Requirements:
• Relevant degree or combination of education and experience
• Minimum five years of experience in peer support and leadership
• Familiarity with youth mental health concerns
• Strong commitment to effective service integration
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable sector search
