Become an After-School Program Lead with BGC York Region, overseeing engaging activities for children aged 6 to 14. This role requires effective coordination and support for a secure, enriching environment.

In this contract position, you'll manage after-school programs at three locations, including planning and delivering physical, educational, and recreational activities. You'll assist Program Coordinators and supervise staff while ensuring safety protocols are enforced and incident reports are handled. Your leadership will maintain program integrity and participant well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate planning and execution of after-school programs
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of program spaces




• Supervise participants for a secure environment
• Oversee inventory of program materials and equipment
• Communicate updates to parents and stakeholders

Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience with children aged 6 to 14
• Strong skills in sports, arts, and recreation
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Police Reference Check upon hiring
