Become a Full Time Employment Consultant with SOAR in Caledonia, ON, and empower job seekers through effective support and training.

In this integral role, you’ll work within the Employment Services Team funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. You will conduct training needs assessments, manage cases, and create individualized service plans. Your contributions will help facilitate workshops and develop vital employment opportunities for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients for training and employment needs
• Create tailored service plans to support job seekers
• Facilitate workshops in partnership with local organizations
• Build relationships with employers for client placements
• Monitor clients’ job retention progress for one year

Requirements:
• Degree in Human/Social Services or Business discipline
• Minimum one year experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management
• Must have reliable transport for local job site visits
• Ability to handle vicarious stress exposure
