This Personal Support Worker role supports the Seniors’ Mental Health Program in a community-focused setting at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Required qualifications include a Personal Support Worker Certificate and recent Basic Life Support training. You'll be instrumental in preventing psychiatric hospitalization by providing essential care and support to seniors and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist seniors with age-related mental health needs
• Participate as a team-oriented member of the health team




• Implement patient-centered care approaches
• Ensure safety practices for patients and staff
• Document patient interactions clearly and accurately

Requirements:
• Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Personal Support Worker or Health Care Aide certification
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Training in dementia and de-escalation techniques
• Bilingualism in English and French preferred
