As a Videographer, you will collaborate with the newsroom to report on community news for CKWS News at 5:30, 6:30, and 11pm. This role invites creativity as you pitch cutting-edge stories, shoot video, and conduct live coverage of breaking news. Flexibility in working hours is essential for this dynamic position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Daily reporting and shooting local news stories
• Write, voice, and edit news content for broadcast
• Develop and pitch new story ideas based on community interest




• Engage in live coverage and interviews for breaking stories
• Enhance storytelling through creative video footage

Requirements:
• Post-secondary Diploma in Broadcast Journalism
• Proven experience in video production and news writing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in tight deadlines
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license necessary
