Job Description and Responsibilities If you're looking for a hands-on role with a leading steel manufacturer, this could be your next great opportunity. In this position, you will play a crucial part in our operations, contributing to high-quality production while experiencing the variety and challenge of 12-hour shifts. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and the ambition to grow with us in a supportive, safety-focused environment.
Comply with all safety rules and procedures
Operate equipment to manufacture steel pipe
Use various hand and power tools, gas torches, and measuring devices
General labour duties
Visually inspect products produced at the station
Cleaning of the work area
Computer data entry
Requirements High School Diploma No experience is necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment will be considered an asset
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
Mechanically inclined, with the ability to follow instructions
Communication and teamwork skills
Willing to work 12-hour shifts and shift work for various production requirements
Commitment to safety rules, wearing full protective personal equipment
Reliable transportation, work location is outside of public transit
