Overview Subject: Team Manager, Accounts Transfers – Versatile hybrid in‑office at 483 Bay Street, Toronto (until late2026) transitioning to 3Robert Speck Parkway, Mississauga. Current work authorization required. The role manages the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounts Transfers team, ensuring processing volumes and Service Level Opportunities (SLO) are met while protecting Fidelity’s brand through compliance and risk management.
Responsibilities Operations management: daily review of departmental activities, ensuring adherence to policies, exceeding client needs, mitigating risks and providing oversight, problem resolution, training, analysis, and reporting.
Compliance and risk management: develop supervisory procedures to strengthen regulatory and risk controls, participate in audit engagements, identify and resolve or escalates financial and regulatory risks.
People management: coach and provide feedback, clarify values and procedures, facilitate training, ensure employees have necessary tools and support.
Business and resource planning: contribute to planning, lead corporate and divisional projects, support client onboarding, and ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Relationship management: collaborate with Operations Team Managers, senior management, and external partners such as vendors and custodians; pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications & Expertise Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organized self‑starter with ability to manage a team and complex tasks.
Proven experience in building and managing relationships with customers and team members.
Effective management skills, including motivation, coaching, and performance enhancement.
Ability to learn and teach on systems and products quickly and gain an understanding of FCC’s product offerings.
3+ years in Financial Services or 3–4 years progressive experience in operations or customer service within the brokerage or financial services industry.
Experience coaching, training, mentoring, and leading people (asset).
University Degree or equivalent work experience.
Completion of Canadian Securities Course considered an asset.
Bilingual in French considered an asset.
Total Rewards Base Salary and discretionary performance bonus: $70,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience.
