This position involves engaging with current and potential suppliers across various industries, including demolition contractors and auto wreckers. Your knowledge of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous scrap grades will help maximize profit through effective negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Generate purchases of scrap metals from various suppliers
• Negotiate prices and long-term contracts to secure suppliers
• Assess value, quality, and processing needs for metals




• Monitor market conditions and pricing strategies
• Communicate daily with suppliers for bid preparation

Requirements:
• 5+ years of industry sales experience required
• Experience as a metal buyer in the scrap industry
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
• Knowledge of transportation and processing costs
• Robust understanding of scrap metal pricing
