As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facilities Manager and perform hands-on maintenance on various building and equipment systems. Your role requires strong judgment, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to support a cooperative team environment. You will manage daily upkeep and contribute to operational efficiency through effective maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct general and minor building repairs
• Perform routine laboratory equipment maintenance
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs
• Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies
• Comply with safety and environmental policies

Requirements:
• 2-3 years in facilities or building maintenance
• Basic plumbing and HVAC knowledge
• Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license
• Experience with computerized maintenance systems
• Ability to work on-call and rotating shifts
