In your position, you’ll provide orientation and counseling to foster well-being and community connections. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will maintain essential communication with placement agencies and manage program effectiveness. Your skills in facilitating support groups will directly contribute to our culture of kindness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and assess social services programs
• Facilitate support groups for individuals and families
• Provide bereavement counseling to those in need




• Coordinate Family Council meetings to address concerns
• Maintain relationships with community referral agencies

Requirements:
• Diploma in social services or gerontology preferred
• Current certification under the Social Work Act
• Experience in a geriatric social field is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Explicit vulnerable sector screening and TB test
