Take charge of IT Support at the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government in Ucluelet, BC. This pivotal team lead role combines oversight of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and staff mentoring in a full time capacity.
As the Team Lead, you will supervise Helpdesk operations, ensuring all systems are reliable and secure. Your role will involve developing cybersecurity policies, managing vendor contracts, and leading a high-performing IT team. You are integral to aligning IT services with community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and optimize servers and cloud services
• Conduct risk assessments and user security education
• Draft IT policies and service standards
• Establish metrics for service delivery effectiveness
• Coordinate IT projects and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field
• At least 3 years of IT experience, including 1 year in a lead role
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and data governance
• Proven track record in contract and vendor management
• Ability to travel between facilities with a valid driver’s license
